Colliers International brokered the sale of the former Lamson & Sessions building. The 350,000 square foot facility is located at 1091 Carolina Pines Drive in the Carolina Pines Industrial Park in Blythewood, S.C. Chuck Salley, SIOR, and Dave Mathews represented the seller, PCO Carolina Pines LP, in the sale to Intertape Polymer Group. The purchase represents a relocation, expansion and modernization of the company’s Beltline Boulevard plant in east Columbia.

1091 Carolina Pines was the former distribution center for Lamson & Sessions and had been vacant since April 2011. This transaction will absorb 30% of the existing vacancy in the northeast Richland County sub-market. This Class A industrial building features 30 foot clear ceiling heights, state of the art lighting and fire protection systems and is well suited for IPG’s modernized highly efficient manufacturing processes.

Salley, SIOR, is a vice president and principal of Colliers International.  Mathews is a brokerage associate.  Salley and Mathews are the leading industrial brokerage team in central South Carolina specializing in the leasing and sale of industrial and distribution facilities.
