The Colonial Life Arena is the pride of South Carolina with 18,000 seats, 41 suites, four club suites and the McGuire Room, a full service hospitality room that has the capacity of 300. The state-of-the-art facility also features plush seating, a technologically advanced sound system, a four-sided video scoreboard and a one-of-a-kind selection of tasty, unique concession foods that delight fans of all ages. The Colonial Life Arena is the new home of men’s and women’s Gamecock basketball as well as host to a wide variety of concerts, family shows, various events and trade shows.
Centrally located in South Carolina's historic state capital, the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center is in the middle of an exciting urban scene that includes open-air cafes, deluxe accommodations, live music, exciting sports venues, and concert tours. Built in 2004, the convention center is an impressive 142,500 square foot meeting/exhibit facility that boasts a 17,135 square foot ballroom, 15,145 square feet of meeting space and a 24,700 square foot exhibit hall.
The Koger Center for the Arts is USC’s and Columbia’s performing arts center. It was built in 1988, and can seat over 2,400 guests. It also has two meeting rooms available. The center is the home of the South Carolina Philharmonic and is also used for other functions such as The State of the State Address, The South Carolina Body Building Championships, The South Carolina Science Fair, The Conductor's Institute, and the dance concerts for the Columbia City Ballet and Southern Strutt's year-end concert.
For more than 80 years, the Township Auditorium has been the centerpiece bringing together a rich heritage of classical arts, rock and roll, and yes, wrestling, crossing cultural, religious, and socioeconomic lines. The Township Auditorium, which is located in downtown Columbia, seats 3,200 guests and features a 77 feet wide by 35 feet deep stage.
